Rabbi Avi Miller is the Associate Rabbi at Congregation Beth Sholom.  He previously served as the Rabbinic Assistant, and before then, as the Rabbinic Intern at Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun.  Rabbi Miller earned his A.B in Philosophy from Princeton University and his M.A in Jewish Philosophy from the Bernard Revel Graduate School.  A Wexner Graduate Fellow, he received his rabbinic ordination from Yeshiva University's Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS).   He is currently pursuing his PhD in Talmud at New York University.  Rabbi Miller is also a member of the Judaic Studies faculty at North Shore Hebrew Academy High School. He lives in Lawrence, NY with his wife Sarah and his children Samson, Akiva, and Rafi.  Sarah is a certified pastry chef from the Institute of Culinary Education in New York and works as a Registered Dietitian at a lipid center in Great Neck, NY.
