Josh Kaufman grew up in Woodmere, NY. After attending DRS High School, he spent two years learning at Yeshivat Har Etzion (Gush). Josh earned his BA in English Literature at Yeshiva University as part of the Honors program. He is currently pursuing semicha in YU/RIETS as a member of the Bella and Harry Wexner Semicha Honors Program. Josh is now in his 7th year studying in Rabbi Michael Rosensweig’s shiur and currently serves as a shiur assistant.  His wife, Mairav, is a graduate of Stern College and currently a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at LIU. They live in Washington Heights.
