Israel
Congregation Beth Sholom is committed to ensuring the safety and security of our brothers and sisters in our beloved homeland, Israel. Beth Sholom’s engagement and involvement with Israel's advocacy is one of the defining tenets of the Shul.
Beth Sholom consistently raises more money for Israel Bonds than any other Shul in the country. Our Shul proudly brings busloads of congregants to AIPAC and NORPAC to establish and solidify relationships with senators, congressmen, and delegates in order to advocate on behalf of Israel. As Americans who love Israel, we understand that guaranteeing U.S aid to Israel ensures existential security.
Beth Sholom regularly hosts events that raise money for the safety, security, social, and environmental well being of Israel. Amongst the myriad of organizations that we raise money for include FIDF, United Hatzalah and JNF. We at Beth Sholom understand that a strong defensible Israel is essential to the United States as well as global security.
If you have any questions regarding past events, or would like to host a future event, please contact Yael Mandel at 516 404-0041 or y.mandel@aol.com
